K-TEK Microphone Support: LINK TO K-TEK

New from K-tek, the makers of award winning Location sound boom poles, comes the latest in suspension and integration design.
K-Tek's Microphone support systems utilize new suspenders made from a special polymer that is both highly durable and elastic to isolate the microphone from the out side world. The system was also designed to be very high quality replacements for rubber bands and clips in various other suspension systems.
Because of the size of the support systems they will also fit in most popular microphone housings, such as Rycote or Sennheiser's line of environment isolation systems.

K-Tek has also produced a shock mount for the ENG market. Made of the same Polymer as the Suspension systems, the ENG style shock-mount is slightly more ridged for more movement during news situations.

Finally for the DV market, K-Tek has designed special adaptors to fit in most mic mounts on popular mid sized cameras such as Sony's DSR-PD170, DSR-PDX10, Panasonic's AG-DVX100A and Canon's XL-1s.
The adaptor is designed to mount K-Tek's Microphone Suspension or shock mounts.
The benefit is less camera and handling noise, as well for moving the microphone back and away from the lens.
For more information on these or any other of K-Tek's products please contact Lorne Lapham Sales & Rentals.
